HAREFIELD PLACE | Award Winning Grade II Listed Building Conversion and Extension

Harefield Place is a Grade II Listed building set within 8 acres of grounds.  Formally the HQ of blockbusters, the project involved the demolition of the existing 1970’s office extension, construction of new build extension with basement car parking and leisure facilities and conversion, restoration and refurbishment of the existing building to create 25 luxury apartments.  Our role of lead designer saw us optimise the scheme and obtaining revised listed building consent and amended planning permission.  We then worked closely with the extensive consultant team and client to discharge relevant conditions and produce a comprehensive construction drawing package.  Continued liaison through construction with the Local Authority (Planning, Conservation and Building Control) led to this complex build with a high attention to detail being recognised by LABC in their Building Excellence awards.
