A rare opportunity for client and Architect alike, having completed an award-winning development on the adjacent plot, Mark Stone Homes wanted an individual bespoke home and gave HAP Architects free reign on the design. We ran an in-house competition with the winning proposal (judged by the team and client) taken forward through the pre-application consultation, full planning and technical packages. The resultant scheme is sympathetically designed around the existing Copper Beach and Lyme Trees with living and bedroom spaces framing the views to and around them. The construction utilised ‘house deck’ foundations to ensure that roots were protected. The spatial arrangement internally has made for a fantastic family home with exceptional craftmanship of build by Mark Stone Homes.
