SPEEN CHURCH | Community Space Extension of Church Facilities

HAP Architects were engaged to provide a building regulations package for this contemporary yet sensitive extension to Speen Baptish Chapel.  The extension provides a new church hall community space, new toilet facilities (inclusive of wheelchair accessible), enlarged and improved kitchen facilities and a separate ‘tea room’ with serving hatch. HAP Architects engaged with the Church key stakeholders to fine tune the layout proposals and to agree construction detailing with the nominated contractor.  The extension provides a modern, flexible space that adds functionality to the historic chapel building.
