Mark Stone Homes acquired this previously undeveloped site and engaged HAP Architects to provide feasibility layouts and house designs. This site came up against local opposition at planning stage with particular reference to impact upon trees. We worked closely with the Arboricultural Consultant and Local Authority Tree Officer to demonstrate the suitability of the scheme and agree enhancements on the site. This resulted in a positive planning decision for 2 detached dwellings. We then provided working drawings for Building Regulations compliance. Mark Stone Homes and the design team worked in partnership with Wycombe LABC which led to the development with an LABC award for ‘Best Small Housing Development’ for the region.
